Cracker Mascot? - Pepperidge Farm Responds

Recall from this post that I recently contacted Pepperidge Farms, the makers of those cute goldfish crackers, to see if they'd consider making Comet my trained goldfish their official mascot.

Well I got a response, basically "We don't consider unsolicited marketing ideas" :-(. Here is the text of the form letter email I received

Hey - at least we should be getting a coupon for some free crackers out of it!

And I'm still holding out hope that my message with have piqued their interest, they'll check out the Fish School website and change their mind.My gut tells me we may not have heard the last from the good people at Pepperidge Farm...
